Subsidised Diesel Gets Cheaper, and More Vehicle Owners Now Qualify

Subsidised diesel drops to RM2.10/litre from July 2026, with eligibility expanded to company-owned pick-ups and jeeps

Good news for diesel vehicle owners: from 1 July 2026, subsidised diesel drops to RM2.10 per litre nationwide under the government’s Budi Madani Diesel (Budi Diesel) scheme.

Even better, eligibility has now been extended to company-owned vehicles of the pick-up and jeep body types, not just individually-owned ones. Malaysians with a valid MyKad, driving licence, and active road tax on a qualifying diesel vehicle can access the subsidised rate.
